Hello Minna-san!!!!! :hug:
Here is the Step by Step from my YAKUSOKU pic!!! [link]
I hope you can understand it!!!! ^^;

:XD: ENGLISH:
1- Draw, ink (with a 0.5 or 0.7 liner) and scanning it. "Clean" the line-art with brightness/contrast/saturation keys. Turn it (only the line-art) as an object (or layer in Photoshop). Transparent line-art at 38%.
2- Add a new object under it and make the skin (using the polygon tool).
3- Add another object above the skin but under the line-art. Make the hair on it (using the polygon tool again). Select it (with a "mask") and make some shades in the hair.
4- Add another object above the skin but under the hair. Make the dress on it (using the polygon tool as always).
Select it ("mask") and make some shades on it.
5- Add more and more objects for different parts of the dress.
6- Add a new object for each rose.
7- Using the paintbrush tool, make the shading//shining on the dress and petals.
8- Add another object for the wings.
9- As ALWAYS, using the polygon tool, make the ribbon above every object.
10- Combine all the objects into only one!!!
11- Under this object, add more and more for each part of the background!
12- When everything is finished, combine all with the background, and use the colors keys to balance the picture as you want. ;)
13- You can shade or shine it with the "gamma" keys. ( ^^; just if you want).
...Yes, it is over!!! =D

OK!!! Thanks so much for visiting me!!! :thanks:

I usually use a liner (gel ink) 0,5 or 0,7, black color or dark blue... ^^;

2. wat setting do u put the scanner on to scan such high quality scans? cuz everytime i try to scan my linearts.. the lines on the comp look really scratchy.. but they aren't on paper >.<
I put at 100%, at 300 dpi at least, "black and white photo mode" or something like that!!! XD

3. how long does it take u to ink and cg?
ink ...mhh maybe 1 hour (if the pic is very complicated T__T ) and for CG sometimes it take me days and days!!!! ;____;

¿How do you do the beautiful soft shading on the face?
:icontarka:
I found this very imformative, but I would just like to ask how to do all the shading and stuff, because that is what I am struggling at with my art.
