2011 was not exactly a great year to me, specially because of my grandparents' death.
I had good moments too, but also, there were very hard situations where I felt bad, but I couldn't help it.
Anyway, I tried to move on, between tears and smiles... it was weird.

So, the 2012 came, with a lot of feelings and things to do... and I need to get motivation too...  but the 40ºC (104 F approx) right now is not very friendly.

Well, throwing away all the negative thoughts and full with good wishes, I hope it will be a very nice year to everyone.

Yesterday, my grandfather passed away.
He was like a father for me.
He had cancer too, and was very weak and skinny these last days. He was very sad about my grandma's death, and said that he wanted to die too.
He had peritonitis and althought he passed the surgery, he was so weak that didn't endure it.

I hope they are together now... I really really loved them so much.

Yesterday, my grandmother passed away.
She had cancer…  but, althought  doctors suggested chemotherapy for her illness, she was very afraid about it and rejected it…
Finally, she accepted it when the cancer got stronger, I think it was too late… her bones were too weak, she broke a femur and needed surgery…  her lungs were not well too… and her heart didn't endure it, so she died a few weeks after that...

The only thing I can tell you is that  you must be careful about your health…
I had cancer too:  two surgeries and chemotherapy during 2003… since then, I need some medicine everyday but, I think I'm very lucky, because still I can be alive…

So, that is all… just take care of yourself and all the people that you love.

Good afternoon everyone,

After my absence during so many months… even years, I'm writing here again. It is impossible to write everything, but I'll try to summarize some facts:
Bad news first, I'm sad because Sayuri (my female canary) died, we miss her a lot. Also, my grandparents are not well. Especially my grandma, she is very ill. Now she is in the hospital, due a broken femur.

Second, in 2010 I got a harsh conjunctivitis (viral) so my eyes got damaged, after that I used to have headaches frequently and my sight became blurred easily… Doctors said that I had keratitis (due the conjunctivitis) and now I have myopia… so I need to use glasses, my right eye sight is very blurred.

Some good news, I got a new job at a University and I like that place. I'm working there since 2009, it demands me a lot of time, so I'm not so free as before to draw… (that's the only bad thing, plus taking the subway and the train at rush hours, I feel like a sardine in a can T__T)…

And the best thing that happened to me: I got a boyfriend for the first time in my life, he is a very nice person, and I love him a lot…  ^_^

Well, about DA, I'm very sorry for not being able to be online since long time ago… I have tons of notes and messages to read, and tons of deviations to watch…  Thank you for all the comments!!
And thanks to all the people who sent me mails too, I will try my best to respond them… (To the questions about using my pictures for tubes, banners, icons, etc… for a NOT commercial use, it is OK…  Just put my name as the artist and the URL to my site, if it is possible).
